About - Macomb County Michigan is located just north east of the city of Detroit. It has 27 cities, townships or villages and was one of the fastest growing counties a few years ago. Since the Macomb County borders "The Motor City" you'll find several factories and many businesses, somehow related to automotive. Unique to the county are the mile roads that run east and west every mile, from 8 Mile on the south end to 38 Mile on the north end.

Activity - Residents of Macomb County enjoy boating, fishing and beaches along the east side of the county where you'll find Lake St. Clair. It runs from St. Clair Shores on the south end of the county, through Harrison Twp., Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Chesterfield Twp. and up to New Baltimore on the north end. The county is also home to 4 major public parks, in addition to 126 other parks, covering 12,000 acres. Loads of bike trails, beaches and almost 40 golf courses. Since we enjoy 4 seasons there is always something you can find to do. Our sports teams enjoy a love hate relationship with our residents. They complain when they lose but continue to show up year after year.

Housing - The housing market here is a mixture of 1930-1950 smaller homes, 1960-1980 average size homes in cookie cutter subdivisions, 1990-2008 larger home,  to some turn of the century historical homes. The pricing ranges from $50,000 to over $1,000,000. The county has always seen slow positive growth due in part to the automotive industry. But starting in 2006 we started to see the housing market slip back and new builds come to a halt.
